BettaFishWater.com currently ships within the United States only.

3) Returns & Refunds

Return eligibility

Because Aquarium water additive is aquarium treatment and packaging integrity is material to product quality, returns are accepted only when products are:

  • unused, and
  • in original packaging, and
  • seal/closure components intact (including vial cap/closure as shipped), and
  • returned within 30 days of delivery.

Opened or used products are not eligible for return unless the product is defective, damaged in transit, or incorrect.

Non-returnable items

Unless required by law, the following are not eligible for return:

  • items marked Final Sale
  • opened/used products
  • gift cards
  • promotional/free items
  • accessories/components that have been used (including applicators/adapters)

How to start a return

  1. Email support@Bettafish.com with your order number and reason for return. 
  2. If eligible, we will issue return instructions and a return authorization.
  3. Returns sent without authorization may be refused.

Return shipping

  • Return shipping costs are customer-paid unless the return is due to our error (wrong item) or verified transit damage/defect.
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping method. You are responsible for the return package until it is received and inspected.

Refund timing

Once we receive and inspect your return, approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 1-3 business days. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to post the credit.

Original shipping charges are refundable only in certain cases, unless required by law. 

Exchanges

We do not offer exchanges. Place a new order and request a return (if eligible) for the original item.

4) Refused or undeliverable shipments

If a shipment is returned to us as undeliverable due to an incorrect or incomplete address, refusal, or failure to retrieve from a carrier hold location, we may:

  • refund the order minus shipping and handling fees, or
  • offer reshipment with additional shipping charges.
